WHY A BIO CERTIFICATION ?
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DIFFERENT ORGANIC CERTIFICATION PROCESSES
Too often still organic certifications are issued “for life” on a single field visit, without any further follow-up or, even worse, sometimes without any field visit. Nothing can guarantee that the products from these programs, fortunately rare but unscrupulous, are truly organic.
This doubt can not exist with a serious BIO Program such as that established by “BCS-Öko Garantie” and “ECOCERT France” for Tahiti Naturel.
OUR CERTIFICATIONS “BIO”: A GUARANTEE PRODUCTION IRREPROCHABLE
TAHITI NATUREL favored a complete BIO certification system in partnership with two different certifiers: BCS-Öko Garantie and Ecocert France.
At source (Tahiti): Starting with fruits, picking, production, post production, packaging and transport (implemented and monitored by BCS-Öko Warranty)
Distribution (France): the merchandise is bottled at a BIO certified processor (implemented and monitored by Ecocert France – AB label)
Regular annual field visits are made by the experienced inspectors of these two programs, often themselves farmers, who have extensive knowledge and knowledge of the environment and often live their “BIO” mandate as a real mission. .
In addition, a complete production specification, step by step, must be thoroughly documented and made available to inspectors at all times, as well as the multitude of other documents that are part of the BIO traceability system.
These types of serious programs guarantee irreproachable production standards.
